DRM Adhoc Board Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Selection Committee Recommendations<\/li>\n

  • AERC Vet Membership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Selection Committee Recommendations:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

    The Selection Committee established for the regional championship has concluded it\u2019s work and has made the following recommendations:<\/p>\n

    Manitoba team to consist of (random order) Wendy Carnegie, Elsie Garn, Annette Fleming, Jessica Naugler and Angela Lavallee.<\/p>\n

    Maura Leahy was the only applicant for the Chef d\u2019equipe position.<\/p>\n

    The selection committee recommends DRM assist the group with an amount of $200 per team member plus $200 for the Chef. This amount was based on consideration for the policy and travel fund guidelines, and given this event is considered a regional \u2018challenge\u2019, versus a national championship.<\/p>\n

    Motions:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Andy\/Wendy \u2013 move to accept team selection results. Carried unanimously.<\/li>\n
    • Kelli\/Wendy \u2013 move to accept Maura as Chef d\u2019equipe. Carried unanimously.<\/li>\n
    • Kelli\/Andy \u2013 move to provide $200 assistance to each team member and chef. Carried unanimously.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Spruce Woods:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

      Tanya is trail marking the 15. Kari will trail mark the 10. Carrie is DM with Andy helping with setup. MTRC will demark.<\/p>\n

      AERC Vet Membership:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

      Dr. Bridgeman has asked if DRM would be willing to pay for 2 years of AERC vet membership given his only opportunity to use the membership is the last ride of the season. After some discussion, the board agreed to this providing Dr. Bridgeman guarantees to vet a ride in the 2025 season as well.<\/p>\n

      Motion by Andy\/Suzanne \u2013 carried unanimously.<\/p>\n
