We discovered we had a permit so we are putting it to good use. Unfortunately this means the rides will NOT be sanctioned with AERC.<\/strong><\/p>

Join us for a pop-up endurance weekend in beautiful Birds Hill Provincial Park. We discovered we had a permit so we are putting it to good use. Unfortunately this means the rides will NOT be sanctioned with AERC.<\/strong><\/p>

We will be offering non-competitive intro rides of 10 or 15 miles as well as a competitive 25-mile limited distance ride and 50-mile endurance ride each day.<\/p>

The 25 and 50 mile divisions WILL NOT BE SANCTIONED, but all distances will count towards DRM year end awards. Prices are reduced accordingly.<\/p>

Entries will be capped at 30 riders\/day.<\/p>

As we are past the tabanid (horse fly) season, we do not require a negative coggins test for this event.<\/p>

Just a few reminders.
1) Take all of your poop out with you. We are using the Folk Festival site again and it\u2019s a privilege for us so let\u2019s not forget that. Before you leave ensure all your poop has been cleaned up.

2) Remember to use trail etiquette. Call out if you\u2019re coming up behind other riders so you don\u2019t spook their horse and use caution at intersections as BHP has plenty of other users.

3) There will be water at the site, but maybe limited depending on the day and the turnout. Please bring sponging water if you can.

4) Don\u2019t forget your park pass as you will need one.<\/h3>

15 mile loop \u2013 pink ribbons<\/p>

10 mile loop \u2013 blue ribbons<\/p>

Right turn \u2013 red ribbons<\/p>

Left turn \u2013 green ribbons<\/p>

Ribbons will be on your right-hand side with one exception on the 10 Mile loop.\u00a0 Follow the directions and it will be clear.<\/p>

Unfortunately, trail sabotage is common in birds hill park and sometimes ribbons are removed. Because of this we ground spray the turns.<\/p>
