Current bank balance approximately $13000.00 (full financial
documents provided to the members present)

Currently 30 members
BHP ride net profit $550 minus AERC sanctioning fees
Spruce Woods ride profit $580, minus AERC sanctioning fees
MHC coaching fees paid out of general revenue

New business:
– Discussion on rider/horse mileage with two issues: if horse owner is a
member but rider is not, does the horse accumulate mileage? (tabled
to next meeting)
– Discussion about MTRC funding for ATV, what happened to the joint
club rep?

Next meeting moved to October 18, 2023, to prep for AGM

Ride Operations:
Belair on Aug 19/20, still waiting on permit, Andy to RM with Wendy
C. and Kelli split the DM, Darice will TM. Kelli will confirm the vets, Andy to
arrange volunteers, will be prizes, Carrie consulted about tabanids, decided
no Coggins required
Souris, Sept 2, Darice RM, Myna TM, permit has been received
BHP Oct 7, no RM, no ™

Decided that if a rider pays cash at the ride for fees the RM or DM
should keep it and etransfer the amount to the club

Discussion of raising the day fee for nonmembers at a ride to $10 to
be brought up at AGM

Carrie advised to get sanctioning in even if there is no RM as else we
won’t get it in time

Ribbon inventory (Tricia)

Equipment trailer, how is sign out sheet working, spare tire still
needed

Registration for Belair to go up this week, working on the horse AERC
number space

Still working on Gpx trail maps for each location, BHP is done, Belair
close, Spruce Woods done. Need a clinic this winter on how to use them

Discussion about RM expense account. Further discussion of having
people own a ride. Potential for a group that wants to start an annual ride to
get up to $200.00 for start up and 60% of the profits thereafter above the
RM, TM and food allowances. The first ride at BHP to be a mentored ride.
